There are 72 frames per foot.
50 feet reel has 3600 frames.
At 18 frames per second this is 200 seconds.
200 seconds or 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
At 24 frames per second this is 150 seconds.
Or two minutes 30 seconds.
For the record 16mm is 40 frames per foot, so Regular-8 must be 80 frames per foot. So with an old style regular 8 camera at 16 fps one get 250 seconds or 4 minutes and 10 seconds.
Data from Kodak Professional Data guide.

Trying to figure out how many minutes per super 8 film spool. What does 50ft equal?
Thanks!
